Cross-Border E-Commerce Jewelry Sales Terms & Conditions

 

1. Definitions  

 

"Platform" refers to the cross-border e-commerce website or APP selling jewelry.  

 

"Consumer" means an individual purchasing jewelry through the Platform.  

 

2. Product Information  

 

2.1 Product descriptions (e.g., material, karat, weight) are based on the product page; images are for reference and may show color variations.  

 

2.2 Custom-made jewelry requires clear design specifications and is non-refundable unless defective.  

 

3. Orders & Payment  

 

3.1 An order is valid only after payment is completed and stock is confirmed by the Platform.  

 

3.2 Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, localized payments (e.g., Alipay Global).  

 

3.3 Pricing & Taxes:  

- Prices are displayed in USD/EUR/GBP (selectable).  

- Consumers are responsible for import duties and VAT.  

 

4. Shipping & Delivery  

 

4.1 Shipping Methods:  

- International express (DHL/FedEx/SF/UPS) or postal service; delivery time varies by destination.  

- Tracking number will be provided after shipment.  

 

4.2 Customs Clearance: Consumers must provide required documents (e.g., ID copy).  

 

5. Returns & Refunds  

 

5.1 Free Returns:  

- Only unused standard products with intact tags, within 7 days of delivery.  

- Consumers bear return shipping costs and customs fees.  

 

5.2 Defective Products:  

- Must provide an expert appraisal report; return shipping is covered by the Platform.  

 

6. Disclaimers  

 

6.1 The Platform is not liable for delivery delays caused by force majeure (e.g., war, strikes, pandemics).  

 

6.2 Jewelry is high-value; consumers are advised to inspect goods upon delivery and record unboxing videos.  

 

7. Governing Law & Disputes  

 

7.1 These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR (or other jurisdictions).  

 

7.2 Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or submitted to HKIAC for arbitration.  

 

8. Privacy & Data Security  

 

8.1 Consumer data is used only for order fulfillment, in compliance with GDPR/CCPA.  

 

8.2 Payment data is encrypted by third-party gateways; the Platform does not store credit card details.
